CTR’s “Wise to be Well” Fitness Challenge / Fundraiser is May 14 – 24 and our staff is training hard! Our goal is to raise funds for a deserving local charity that the staff is voting on as we speak!! For every KM we walk or run, CTR is donating $1.00 to the chosen charity and for every KM we bike, CTR will donate .50 cents over the 10 day challenge. We are excited as we have over 70 employees registered for our event so we anticipate a successful challenge where we are getting fit and paying it forward.

CTR’s culture to be our best versions of ourselves is important in the office and at home. Our dedication to our families and loved ones shines through in all we do. Cheers to our Project Manager; Svetlana Mikhaylova for creating this event for CTR. Svetlana is our Senior Accountant who also manages our payroll, RRSP’s and benefits programs. Year one with a pandemic has not been easy but CTR is determined to have a team that feels appreciated and supported every step of the way. Here’s how CTR roles…

1. CTR provided extra paid time off for those who had to quarantine while waiting for test results in 2020 until government programs kicked in.
2. CTR employees were given 2 extra paid days off that can be used for COVID testing or mental recharge.
3. CTR provides an excellent benefits program (health benefits, RRSP’s, sick days). Starting 2021 health benefits even improved and are now cheaper to employees.
4. CTR continues to support those who are taking courses for personal and/or professional development: Dale Carnegie, Toast Masters, and Red River College.
5. CTR has continued with employee appreciation events and traditions – COVID safe lunches, CTR “All Star” shirts, and birthday treats each month are just a few examples!
